Fraser Trebilcock attorney Elizabeth H. Latchana has been named the Best Lawyers in America© 2021 Employee Benefits (ERISA) Law "Lawyer of the Year" in Lansing. This is a high honor, as only one lawyer in each practice area in each community is honored as the "Lawyer of the Year."

Her expertise includes Affordable Care Act, ERISA, COBRA, Cafeteria Plans, Wrap Plans, Health Savings Accounts (HSAs), Health Reimbursement Arrangements (HRAs), and various other areas of state and federal law compliance involving group health plan and related employee benefit matters.
She has been recognized for her outstanding legal work, being selected as one of the Top 30 "Women in the Law" in 2018 by Michigan Lawyers Weekly, has been listed in Best Lawyers continuously since 2013, and, notably, this is the third time that she has been recognized as the "Lawyer of the Year" by Best Lawyers. "We congratulate Beth and are thrilled that she was selected as a "Lawyer of the Year" for the third time. This award exemplifies her proven track record of success for her clients," said Michael H. Perry, President of Fraser Trebilcock.
Best Lawyers© is based on an exhaustive peer-review survey in which almost 50,000 leading attorneys cast nearly five million votes on the legal abilities of other lawyers in their practice areas; because lawyers are not required or allowed to pay a fee to be listed, inclusion in Best Lawyers© is considered a singular honor. Only five percent of attorneys in Michigan are awarded with the honor.
