Fraser Trebilcock attorney Marlaine C. Teahan has been named The Best Lawyers in America© 2022 Trusts and Estates "Lawyer of the Year" in Lansing, Michigan. This is a high distinction, as only one attorney in each practice area in each community is identified as "Lawyer of the Year." “I was surprised by this honor from my peers, especially since there are many very talented Lansing attorneys who also deserve this recognition,” said Marlaine.

This is the second time Marlaine has been named as the Trusts and Estates "Lawyer of the Year" in Lansing by Best Lawyers©, first recognized in 2018. She has been listed in The Best Lawyers in America© every year since 2010.

Marlaine C. Teahan leads the Trusts and Estates practice group at Fraser Trebilcock and previously served on the firm's Board of Directors as Secretary and Treasurer. She is a Fellow of the American College of Trust and Estate Counsel, and is a past Chair of the Probate and Estate Planning Section of the State Bar of Michigan.
