Team Fraser Trebilcock was busy last week, lacing up our sneakers to fundraise for a fantastic cause. Coaches vs. Cancer is a nationwide collaboration between the American Cancer Society and the National Association of Basketball Coaches. It’s often recognized by its “Suits and Sneakers” tradition, as coaches sport their sneakers during the week’s basketball games to promote cancer awareness and support for research.
We teamed up with Michigan State University and Coach Tom Izzo to participate, with all proceeds benefitting the American Cancer Society. Cancer has touched everyone in some way; from our attorneys and staff within our Fraser family, to our family outside of the office, and our friends within the community. Being able to give back to fight something that impacts us all, is a cause that our Fraser family fully supports.
In our attempt to claim the “Rookie of the Year” title, employees were encouraged to wear sporty footwear throughout the week as well as a casual day on Friday. At the end of the week, we held an office tournament with various events including putt-putt golf, basketball and a football field goal ring toss.
