Fraser Trebilcock Attorney Marlaine C. Teahan was recently selected by her peers for inclusion in The Best Lawyers in America© 2014 in the field of Trusts and Estates. She was also selected as a Super Lawyer for 2014 in the field of Estate Planning & Probate and Estate and Trust Litigation. Ms. Teahan is currently the Treasurer of the Probate and Estate Planning Section of the State Bar of Michigan and serves as co-chair of the Ingham County Bar Association’s Probate and Trust Section. She has achieved an AV peer review rating by Martindale-Hubbell, and has been named in both Best Lawyers and Super Lawyers since 2010. After completion of the Probate and Estate Planning Certificate Program through the State Bar of Michigan and the Institute of Continuing Legal Education, Ms. Teahan became a faculty member for the Program.
Ms. Teahan is the co-editor of “Trust Administration Under the Michigan Trust Code” (Institute of Continuing Legal Education, 2010, 2012, 2013) and is a frequent lecturer for ICLE on various topics related to estate planning and the Michigan Trust Code. Ms. Teahan lives in Grand Ledge with her husband, Jim Teahan, and their three sons.
