Intellectual property attorneys recently achieved a favorable outcome for Fraser client Cardboard Prophets resulting in the closing of a review by the Attorney General's Charitable Trust Section that had been precipitated by a complaint by another local homeless advocacy group.
The complaining advocacy group's 14-page letter to the Attorney General's office alleged trademark violations, misappropriation of funds, and an alleged diversion of PayPal donations, among other claims.
Based upon the response filed by our attorneys, the Attorney General's office closed its review, barring any new information. The client may now re-focus on continuing its advocacy work for Lansing's homeless population.
