Mark E. Kellogg has devoted over 30 years of practice to the needs of family and closely-held businesses and enterprises, including business succession, cottage law and succession planning, estate planning, real estate law, contract law, tax law and planning and non-profit law.
In addition to having a wide breadth of experience practicing law, Mark is a certified public accountant. This skillset gives Mark a unique insight into business and tax implications relating to planning for his clients.
Mark holds several leadership positions for legal organizations dealing with business and probate and estate planning and is currently serving as the Chair of the State Bar of Michigan Business Law and Probate and Estate Planning Sections. He has also been actively involved in various charitable, trade and community organizations throughout his professional career. Mark has served on Fraser Trebilcock's Board of Directors for several years and currently serves as Co-Chair of the firm's Trusts & Estates department.
Mark is also a member of the international organization of Attorneys for Family-held Enterprises (AFHE), currently serves as a Member of the Finance Committee for Highfields, Inc., and has recently been elected to City Council for the City of DeWitt.
