    Brian is the Co-Chair of the firm's Employee Benefits Department, focusing on retirement plans and deferred compensation. As an experienced benefits and executive compensation attorney, Brian T. Gallagher helps employers navigate the complicated and ever-changing legal landscape of ERISA and the Tax Code. He also serves as the Secretary of Fraser Trebilcock’s Board of Directors.

    Brian works closely with employers of all sizes in many different industries to design and maintain their benefit plans. He helps his clients to keep their plans compliant and to develop practical solutions when mistakes inevitably do occur. He is currently serving as the Secretary of the Taxation Section of the State Bar of Michigan, and previously chaired its Employee Benefits Committee. Brian was named a 'Rising Star in Michigan' by Super Lawyers for Employee Benefits first in 2014, and consecutively in each year since 2017. He is also very engaged in the local Lansing community, serving on the boards of numerous local nonprofits.
