Fraser Trebilcock congratulates Shareholder and Director Jared Roberts for his recent appointment to the Board of Governors for the Michigan Basic Property Insurance Association (“Michigan Basic”).
Michigan Basic was established in a 1968 Federal Housing Bill to provide basic property insurance to those in areas where no other insurance was available through the voluntary market. This statutorily created and state regulated not-for-profit association is made up of all property insurer members that are licensed to write business in Michigan.
Jared is “honored to have been appointed to this Board” and he looks forward to serving the people of the State of Michigan in this capacity. Jared’s business and real estate litigation experience should serve him well in this position.
