This free informational workshop is for anyone who would like to know more about what legal and financial issues to consider and how to put plans in place.

Program Presenters:
Attorneys Paula J. Manderfield and Melisa M. W. Mysliwiec are both volunteer presenters with the Alzheimer’s Association Michigan Great Lakes Chapter, which serves 23 counties across the state of Michigan.
Paula J. Manderfield spent 20 years as a Circuit and District Court Judge, in addition to ten years in private practice, before joining Fraser Trebilcock as a Shareholder in 2013. Paula has been a registered nurse for more than 40 years, giving her a unique perspective for handling cases involving health care issues. She serves on the Board of Blue Care Network, the Board of Visitors for Michigan State University's College of Nursing, and holds positions on various legal committees with the State Bar of Michigan and other prominent legal associations.
Melisa M. W. Mysliwiec has been named a "Rising Star" in Michigan by Super Lawyers Magazine each year since 2013, for her work in elder law and trust and estate planning. Melisa's focus on Elder Law and Medicaid often sets her apart from other attorneys. She is also an accredited attorney by the Department of Veterans Affairs. Melisa is a council member of the Probate and Estate Planning Section of the State Bar of Michigan, assistant editor of the State Bar of Michigan's Probate and Estate Planning Journal, an officer of the board of directors of the School Board for St. John Vianney Catholic School, near Grand Rapids, and a board member of the Spartan Stores YMCA, also near Grand Rapids.
