Morgan, Thaddeus E.jpgFraser Trebilcock attorney Thaddeus E. Morgan has been named the Best Lawyers in America© 2022 Construction Litigation "Lawyer of the Year" in Lansing. This is a high distinction, as only one attorney in each practice area in each community is identified as "Lawyer of the Year." "I am honored to be recognized by Best Lawyers© as a 2022 'Lawyer of the Year' for Construction Litigation in Lansing," said Thad Morgan.

Thad is a shareholder and previously served as President of the firm. He is the firm's Litigation Department Chair, and serves as the firm's State Capital Group (SCG Legal) voting representative. Thad was first elected to the Board of Directors for SCG Legal in 2016, and at their annual meeting in 2019 he was elected Chairman and served for two years.

Thad has over 20 years of litigation experience in both state and federal courts in a wide variety of areas, including, commercial and business disputes, employment and shareholder litigation, construction, health care, real estate, insurance, and intellectual property. He is annually recognized by both Best Lawyers ® and Super Lawyers in the field of litigation, and has achieved an AV© peer review rating by Martindale-Hubbell. Thad is also a member of the Advisory Council for the Gerald R. Ford Institute for Leadership in Public Policy and Service at Albion College.

Best Lawyers© is based on an exhaustive peer-review survey in which almost 50,000 leading attorneys cast nearly five million votes on the legal abilities of other lawyers in their practice areas; because lawyers are not required or allowed to pay a fee to be listed, inclusion in Best Lawyers© is considered a singular honor. Only five percent of attorneys in Michigan are awarded with the honor.
