Fraser Trebilcock attorney Michael S. Ashton has been named the Best Lawyers in America^© 2016 Litigation – Regulatory Enforcement (SEC, Telecom, Energy) "Lawyer of the Year" in Lansing. This is a high honor, as only one lawyer in each practice area in each community is honored as the "Lawyer of the Year." Ashton focuses his practice on matters before the Michigan Public Service Commission while overseeing the Administrative and Regulatory Law practice as the department chair. He has represented clients in the cable, telecommunication and pipeline industries before the Public Service Commission, other state agencies and local governments.
