On August 3, 2016, the Court issued a temporary restraining order to preserve and protect the confidentiality of the Mr. Taco intellectual property, which includes the recipes and spice mix formulas and other trade secrets used during the operation of the Mr. Taco restaurants in the Lansing area.

An Ingham County jury returned a no-cause-of-action verdict in favor of a downtown Lansing bar door man and a bartender on June 23, 2016. The 11-day trial was tried as a wrongful death action.
