Fraser Trebilcock attorney Brian T. Gallagher was recently elected to serve on the Taxation Section Council of the State Bar of Michigan. The Council governs the Taxation Section of the State Bar of Michigan and oversees several committees relating to the practice of tax law, including the Employee Benefits Committee where Gallagher previously served as Chair.
In his practice, Gallagher helps employers navigate the complicated and ever-changing legal landscape of ERISA and the Tax Code. He was named one of the "10 Over the Next Ten" by the Lansing Regional Chamber and Grand River Connection and one of the "Top 5 Under 35" by the Ingham County Bar Association in 2013, and was recently selected as a "2017 Rising Star in Michigan" by Super Lawyers for Employee Benefits.
Gallagher is also very engaged in the Lansing community. He was recently selected to serve as co-Chair of The Underground of Good, a grassroots philanthropic organization that supports local non-profits. Previously, Gallagher has served as a board member for the Lansing Regional Chamber of Commerce, Chair of the Highfields, Inc. board, and as President of Grand River Connection.
