Fraser Trebilcock attorney Paul V. McCord was recently recognized for his leadership on the Taxation Section Council for the State Bar of Michigan. Paul served 12 years on the Council before stepping down this fall.
During his tenure, Paul served as the chair of the State and Local Tax Committee, Assistant Editor of the Tax Lawyer, and he established a pro-bono tax representation program, among many other things. Paul says he is grateful to his many friends and colleagues for the opportunity to serve Michigan’s tax bar.
A Shareholder at Fraser Trebilcock, Paul has more than 20 years of tax litigation experience, including serving as a clerk on the U.S. Tax Court and as a judge of the Michigan Tax Tribunal. Paul has represented clients before the IRS, Michigan Department of Treasury, other state revenue departments and local units of government.
